Fate of a Failed Dragon
Peacemaker (The Maker Cycle, Book 1)
My primary project and one that I’m putting the most work toward. As of the 28th of December, 2025, draft one is complete! That's all the huge story bits, all the flashback chapters, the interludes, the twists and bits, done.
As suggested by my wife, I'm taking a break from working on it for a month. Come February, I'll read through the whole thing for the first time! It's crazy. Then I'm onto draft two for some grammar and plot tweaks.
Draft 1: COMPLETE
Draft 2: ON HOLD
Once draft two is complete, I’ll send Peacemaker out to beta readers with a feedback outline to ask questions, check for consistency and plot holes, and gauge interest. That will inevitably bring on a draft three, and after all of that I’ll send the story out to a much larger audience. Once that’s done, it’s off to an agent!
The Maker Cycle, Book 2
This is currently in its planning phase. I have most of the story beats and the finale nailed down. It's changed a lot since it's first outline, especially with the separation of much of the plot, but I'm really excited for it! The ending, I hope, will be fantastic.
Book 2 Outline: 43% done!
Which is coming right along. It's imperative that I get book two outlined before I finish draft two of Peacemaker, because I need to setup everything I'll use in the sequel there.
Hearth Trilogy
These three books were born out of the burgeoning plot of Peacemaker, and are the result of me realizing I'm trying to tell two different stories. So now, I'm not. That being said, planning for these is currently on hold as I focus all my efforts on The Maker Cycle. No further progress will be made until I'm done or nearly done with the first draft of the sequel to Peacemaker.
Witness for the Dead
This is a novella I'm wrote which started as a far-too-ambitious short story in my writing group! I loved the idea, and I'm excited to share it on here once it's done! It's a mystery about a necromancer and a legion strangely dead.
Draft 1-4: COMPLETE!

Draft 4 is complete! I've sent it out to beta readers with a short questionnaire. You can read the first scene here! I've started collecting feedback, and will produce a draft 5 once I'm comfortable with what I want to change. But it will be a while until then!
